The Downs and Ups of Writing Contests
So I’ve been a little down on my writing the past week or so, since finding out that my TV pilot script, The Nemesis, didn’t make the semi-finals of the TVWriter.com contest, after it won the Golden Age of TV contest and placed in the top 10 percent at Austin. But I just found out that my spec script for The Big Bang Theory, which didn’t make the cut in Scriptapalooza or Austin, is in the semis at TVWriter.com for the spec category. It just goes to show that you need to get your work out there and have faith in your writing. Someone’s bound to like it.
